KILDARE ROUTE PROJECT - OBSERVATIONS (POST REJECTION OF SUBMISSION)

Well, the system is corrupt. So much so, that the media knew that the project was passed by the inquiry before I did. The media were also informed about Martin Cullen's approval before I was. (Of course, this is the same Martin Cullen behind Farmleigh and e voting. The KRP is his hat trick). In fact, I have received no correspondence from the Department of Transport on this issue, other than an acknowledgement of my objection in December 2005. But then, as noted in observations, the Irish economy is a tamagotchi and requires continuous and ever expanding feeding of the construction industry or it will die.

Like flies to shit, Irish Rail needs the incompetent civil service to hand them over a wodge of our money to waste, rather than requiring Irish Rail to be efficient. They, in turn, require entities like Irish Rail to make it look they are working.

When civil and public servants have a vision, nothing inconvenient, such as the truth, can be let get in the way. The fact that it has been authorised does not give the project moral authority. At one stage, tarring and feathering was authorised. Now there's an idea.

Perhaps now is the time to remind these civil servants that anything, including imprisonment without trial, cancellation of pensions, sackings and even multi billion euro fines can be authorised by referendum.
